Indian Independence Day was on Thursday this week. We had the school day off and the school took us to a place called Ideal Beach Resort. The rooms we borrowed for showering off the sand and changing and other beach stuff, was really big. It was definitely a good spot to be and play on the beach. The worst part was when my dad and I started playing with the Arobie and about 5 minutes later it vanished into the waves never to be seen again. I still had lots of fun. I tried to make a mini-pool out of sand so the littler kids would be distracted and not knock over my sand castles. (Yes I know i am getting to old for that. No I am not. Don’t even think that.) It was a pain rebuilding them. It took about half the day and I still didn’t complete it. Stupid waves kept ruining it. But I find the most fun in trying to complete it before the waves ruin it. That beach gave my parents time away from me. All parents need that at some point. It was good to be playing in the sun with your shirt off and not have it raining. Grace period was from about 8:00 A.M – 3:00 P.M. Then came the downfall again. Having a good time came with consequences. I got a sun burn. It was totally my fault although my mom says otherwise. It has been 3 days and it still hurts. Well that’s what I get for being arrogant.
